Pearl Hart was born in Ontario, Canada. She was the last person ever to rob a stagecoach and the only woman ever known to have robbed one. Pearl needed money to help her ill mother, and talked to a local miner, Joe Boot. They both decided to rob a stagecoach. They did so, and got away with $450, but were caught 2 days later - and put in jail. She escaped jail, but was caught very soon, and put back into jail. She was let out 18 months later. No one is really sure what happened to her, one person said she died in 1925, another says she died in 1952.
